It's raining, it's pouring...

If California were a person in therapy it would be diagnosed as bipolar. But living in California my whole life I am beginning to be less surprised by this sudden change in weather and have learned though there is rain you can still dress to impress. What's my go to outfit on a rainy day?

Tights, a dress, a scarf, boots, socks, a cute hat to keep your head dry and a touch of color with your coat. Put your sweats away and still have fun with your outfit when it's cold and wet.

The Single Life

As I sat in Destination Beauty getting my hair done by the lovely Jill Trunnell I couldn't help but notice the stunning image of Taylor Swift sitting on the counter. She put aside her frilly dresses and cowboy boots, and embraced an edgier side for this Vogue cover shoot.

The outfits chosen for her to wear were remarkable. They had the perfect mix of fun girly fits and colors yet held an alternative edge to them. This swap of sun dress for high fashion and curls for a straight cut with bangs is working for TSwift. She seems to be growing up nicely.

A spot of red.

Happy late Valentines Day everyone! I hope you had a wonderful day filled with red hearts, chocolate, cute outfits and lots of love.

Here is a little outfit found on the lookbook that I find perfect for a day of love.

The pop of red is a great way to sport the holiday without being over the top.

And the Grammy goes to...

Like many others I tuned in last night to hear the wonderful voices of all those nominated for a Grammy. But before I received chills from the ever so talented Adele and Jennifer Hudson, I was floored by the amazingly beautiful gowns on the red carpet.

There were many stunning outfits, but my top picks went to two of my favorite ladies.
